They just prove that the cell can do more than just play game. That's cool with me if it can be used in hospitals to save lives. Don't want to scare you, but PowerPCs (like the 360) are also used in hundreds of applications other than gaming... Wake up!

But many people who bought the 360 had bought the original xbox and got burn because it had such a short life. Now you're saying that the 360 will also have a short life and third gen will beat the PS3???

If like most people, you do a search on the web before you buy any expensive piece of hardware, you'll find out that if you're looking for the best BluRay player, it's still the PS3!!! No fanboyism at all. All the main web sites reviewing BluRay players still give the highest rating to the PS3 (And trust me, those sites could not care less about gaming!). So let me guess... After all that, you would still buy a more expensive standalone player, instead of buying one that is highly rated as...

I agree they quite likely won't move out of third place by this fall. And all gamers will agree that for once, everybody is winning because we have three consoles doing really well. But if I had money to bet on who will finish third in a few years from now, I would bet ya it won't be Sony.

Definitively next-gen kicking in. Sure there's still little things here and there, but so many very neat combos. Very smooth transistion from cinematic to in-game. Sound is awesome, you can hear noises and voices from all your speakers. Pre-order, pre-order, pre-order. Two long months to wait...
And yes, the demo is extremely short. Way too short. I need more. But at least we can pratice those combos until we get them down solid.
Wow, as far as we now, Sony STILL loose money everytime they sell a PS3. So if they sell less PS3 and more PS2, the bottom line is better. Now, why would the title say that the bad sales of the PS3 is the reason why Sony is loosing money. If they had sold four times the amount, then sure enough they would have lost more money. In fact they say it's Japan sales, but that's where they loose the most money on every consoles they sell. At least now their margin is likely better.
It cost next to nothing. You basically only pay for patents as usual. Don't worry about anything said above in fact. Best way to stop sales for a product is to claim that there will be a price cut soon. Everbody then stop buying the product and wait on the sideline until there's a price drop. So it's Microsoft last and only strategy left to fight the PS3. Claim there's a price drop coming after every price drop so nobody ever buy a PS3, waiting for those price cuts. Very, very cheap low blow...
OK, let see, the console has been late 6 months. Then it's on the market for about 1 year. And still no Lara out yet for the PS3. Why blame it? C'mon, this is the joke of the century. If they had been working (spending) on any launch game for the PS3, it would be out by now. Being late would have give them more time to polish it. Simply wow...

This is a news because for a while, the trend has changed...
You can be sure that as soon as the number will drop (there's always a spike when there's a price drop), then there will be tens of news about the fact that the PS3 sales are dropping.

If the sixaxis look exactly the same as the ones we currently have without rumble, then you will need to be able to tell which one has rumble and which one doesn't just by looking at them with the power off (before picking them up). So it's likely just colored plastic, not backlit.
Would like to see something like this for all the current games under dev.... Jade (and marketing) is doing an awesome job. The more I look at those videos, the more I want the game.
